Tue 6 Nov 2018 13:30 - 14:00 at St. James - DSLs that communicate

Healthcare data needs to be reliable, usable and consistent if it is going to be used in either patient-critical application or in research analytics. By applying model driven engineering techniques to data management measurable improvements to data quality can be achieved. This talk describes continuing work carried out for a number of UK Healthcare organizations applying such techniques. It also introduces a toolset, built using the DSL around the notion of a metadata catalogue, to enable the effective deployment of the language in large organisations and major programmes..
