Teaching programming with Grace at Portland State
Grace has been used in teaching at Portland State University, a non-selective public university, for a variety of classes, including two instances of a freshman introduction to programming for those who have never-before programed, two instances of a graduate/undergraduate course on Object-Orientation, and a compressed introduction to programming for post-baccalaureate students transferring to computer science from other disciplines.
This talk will offer an impression of how Grace works for these students in the classroom.
